Lise Gagnon has been leading numerous projects in the Dominican Republic for a little over ten years. After working in the bateys of Cangreo and El Cupey, in the north of the country, she settled in the batey of Baraguana, near the city of Puerto Plata, in 2005.

Its projects are primarily aimed at children and young people . However, the health care projects target the entire population of the batey.

Cabarete is a seaside town located on the north coast
